How it works

One call or form gets your project in front of a deck builder who works near you.

  1. You call or send a request

Tell us your town and the job: a new deck, composite boards, a repair or replacement, new railings or stairs, or a roof over the deck.

  2. We connect you with a local company

Your call or request goes to an independent deck builder that serves Coeur d'Alene and nearby Kootenai County towns.

  3. The company handles the job

They quote, schedule and do the work. Pricing, warranties and terms come from them directly.

What we are and aren't

Coeur d'Alene Deck Builders is a referral service, not a contractor. We don't send crews or employ technicians, and we don't set prices. Using the site is free for homeowners.

Idaho registers contractors rather than licensing them. Registration with the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses requires proof of at least $300,000 in general liability coverage, and the City of Coeur d'Alene won't accept a building permit application without proof of registration or a valid exemption. Ask the builder for their Idaho registration number, a certificate of insurance, who will pull the permit, and a written quote that spells out footings, framing, decking, railings and warranty.
